The village Kilva ahead of Choling is said to
be beautiful. The river sutlej flows below it
and above it is a deep jungle. At the function
of the temple, people from three villages come
here with the procession of their local deity.
The atmosphere in the village is that of a fair.
The song describes a tussle to determine who
is the most powerful of the three Gods. It carries
on to speak of the smartest musician in the
procession called Ratan Singh Negi and his love
for a girl of a lower caste. |
