The Songs
Music from Rajasthan has found quite a lot of exposure globally. The Langa and Manganiar communities that live around the Jaisalmer areas are world famous now.
But what few have heard is music other than that of these two communities. This is what we have tried to bring out.
These recordings with artistes around the Ajmer area and the southern parts of Rajasthan capture the vibrancy of the land. One can picture the colourful dresses the people from this land wear as one hears the music.
The land has so much visual beauty and the festivals are so full of life that we did several videos from the region. Do check them out as they are a special treat.
