One of the significant musician communities of Rajasthan is the Bhopa community. There are many different subsets within this community too. Sohan Lal Bhopa is a singer of the 'Babuji ki Phad'. He travels from village to village performing for his patrons with his wife who sings along. He plays a string instrument called the 'Ravanhattha' and the couple performs in front of a huge painting depicting the characters about whom they sing.
