A room
meant especially for the some of the wedding rituals is
the Kohbar. It is also the wedding night suite for the
couple. Traditionally the walls are painted with pictures
of Gods, goddesses, birds and other auspicious subjects.
It is considered the house of God in a sense.
The painting in the Kohbar is done only by a married woman
and even the songs of the Kohbar are sung only by married
women. Many of the Kohbar songs center around the night
the couple has ahead or the romantic conversation the
couple might have.
