Folk music is an art... at the same time - it isn't.
It is an expression - of joy, sorrow, desire, solidarity, community, humanity....or
even of just any thought that comes to mind.
Its practitioners too are not all artists in the strict sense. Some of them are professionals who do this for a living, Others who sing for the joy of participation.Beat of India has a mix of both.
