| Dayaram Saroliya started his formal musical journey in 1982 at age nine when he started singing for the children's program "Baljagat" for All India Radio's Indore station. After that he never stopped, singing with and taking inspiration from many senior singers, especially those singing Kabir Bhajans in the area. He started performing independently as a "Kabir Singer" at AIR in 1993 and since then not only continuously performs for Doordarshan & AIR but also many private and government programs. Apart from being a professional artiste he is an active member of the village Panchayat in his own village.
