Harpal Singh Pala lives in Manikpur Sharif and is one of the state's most well known traditional Toombi players. He can play all the old Lehras or tunes from memory. He has even performed for 12-15 hours continously along with his accompanists with as many as 10,000 people watching! (standing the full duration of his perfomance)

He is a very expressive performer and once he starts, his eyes just mesmerize the viewer. He usually performs with his three accompanists, one Algoza or double flute player and two Dhad or small drum players in fairs and festivals for which they are specially invited. He has even had the honour of perfoming at gatherings which have been attended by the likes of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. He got his musical training from his father.
